Don is Jim’s teammate, so he might know better. Despite Kendrick Perkins’ assertions, James Harden’s veins are not flowing on Kool-Aid. With two minutes left down the stretch, and the Cleveland Cavaliers hanging on to anything like a possibility of what if, Harden drilled three shots. The Cavs nervously closed out of necessity over the Detroit Pistons, 116-109, to draw 2-1 overall.
If a series doesn’t start until the away team wins, this series hasn’t yet begun. While the Cavaliers have been shooting worse than their own selves this postseason, so have been the Pistons.
Cade Cunningham is cut out for this. He wants it; eventually, he’ll need it. Cade will ply himself in order to deliver triple-doubles when the team is under fire, which he did in Game 3, on the road, when a series is supposed to start.
Tobias Harris’s personal renaissance, down the stretch or in any given postseason, is always welcome. If they’re serious about the east, the Pistons need tto do well enough in order for Boban to show up in support.
Duncan Robinson is currently working on the absolute limits of what a mustache is supposed to be, but he has never had any questions about where and when he can hit a shot.
